- Sastry Durvasula, Chief Operating, Information, and Digital Officer at TIAA

This committee is tasked with establishing industry norms and architectural solutions that facilitate the adoption of AI agents in enterprise environments. This expansion follows the recent appointment of Sandi Tillotson, Chief Compliance Officer at New York Life Insurance Company. The regulatory board already features prominent figures like Susan Dudley, former White House regulatory czar under President George W. Bush, and Ben Lawsky, former Superintendent of the New York State Department of Financial Services.
Recent Funding Boost for Norm Ai
This announcement comes shortly after Norm Ai successfully secured $48 million in funding from a consortium of major financial players such as Vanguard, Blackstone Innovations Investments, Bain Capital, Coatue, Craft Ventures, New York Life Ventures, Citi Ventures, TIAA Ventures, and Salesforce’s Marc Benioff. This funding round brings the firm’s total capital raised to $87 million, supported by investors managing over $15 trillion in assets.
Leadership Enhancements in AI Compliance
To further strengthen its position in AI compliance, Norm Ai has appointed former SEC commissioner Troy Paredes as the Senior Policy Advisor and Head of Capital Markets Strategy.
