This integration aims to enhance the chatbot’s ability to answer queries using data from files, presentations, spreadsheets, and Slack discussions.

OpenAI intends to broaden the scope of ChatGPT Connectors in the future, with plans to include platforms such as Microsoft SharePoint and Box. This expansion will enable employees to leverage internal knowledge just as easily as they access information from the web.

Participation in the Beta Program

Companies interested in participating in the ChatGPT Connector beta must provide OpenAI with a selection of 100 documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and/or Slack conversations. OpenAI assures that this data will not be used for direct training but may contribute to synthetic data generation for model improvements.
