Farritor, a Thiel Fellow, embodies the qualities often associated with the Thiel network: polite, intellectually curious, and deeply passionate about technology. Involvement in the Vesuvius Challenge

Farritor’s interest in decoding ancient texts was sparked after he heard Friedman discuss the Vesuvius scrolls on a podcast. These scrolls, buried during the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in A.D. 79, appeared as charred remnants but held the potential for groundbreaking discoveries if deciphered using advanced technologies.
