eToro Expands UAE Investment Opportunities through Strategic ADX Partnership
eToro, a prominent global investment platform, has recently forged a strategic partnership with the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX). This collaboration aims to enhance investment opportunities for users both in the UAE and internationally by adding ADX-listed stocks to eToro’s offerings, starting in 2025.
Expanding Investment Horizons with ADX-Listed Stocks
With this new agreement, eToro users will have the chance to invest in a diverse range of companies listed on the ADX. These companies span several key sectors, including:
- Energy
- Real Estate
- Banking
- Finance
- Technology
- Healthcare
This initiative not only broadens eToro’s investment options but also strengthens Abu Dhabi’s reputation as a leading global investment hub. The partnership coincides with the first anniversary of eToro’s operations in the UAE, further contributing to market liquidity and accessibility to one of the world’s fastest-growing exchanges.
Goals of the Partnership
Yoni Assia, co-founder and CEO of eToro, expressed his enthusiasm regarding this collaboration, stating, “We are excited to announce our partnership with the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, enabling eToro users to trade ADX-listed stocks.” He noted that since eToro’s inception in 2007, the platform has developed a global, multi-asset investment offering, allowing users from over 75 countries to trade equities across more than 20 stock exchanges.
Abdulla Salem Alnuaimi, group CEO of ADX, also highlighted the significance of this partnership. He remarked, “ADX is dedicated to connecting global investors with opportunities in one of the region’s most dynamic markets. Our partnership with eToro will provide seamless access to leading ADX-listed companies across key sectors for over 38 million registered users on eToro, enhancing market liquidity and reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s position as a premier destination for international investment.”
Market Insights and Future Prospects
George Naddaf, MD of business development for the MENA region at eToro, commented on the timing of this announcement during Abu Dhabi Finance Week. He stated, “This marks eToro’s first anniversary as a licensed broker serving the needs of retail investors in the UAE.”
According to eToro’s recent data, only 42 percent of UAE retail investors currently have exposure to ADX-listed stocks. However, there is noticeable optimism in the market, with 80 percent of investors anticipating growth within the next year. Naddaf stated, “This collaboration enables both our local and global users to capitalize on the region’s growth trajectory and aligns with our commitment to supporting the UAE’s economic vision.”
