Invary Secures $3.5M Seed Funding to Propel Next-Gen Runtime Integrity Solutions in Cybersecurity

Invary, a cutting-edge cybersecurity firm specializing in Runtime Integrity solutions, has successfully completed a $3.5 million seed funding round. This investment aims to bolster their innovative security technologies that ensure system integrity and protection against cyber threats.

Investment Details and Partners

The funding round was led by SineWave Ventures and Flyover Capital, with participation from Hyperlink Ventures and the KCRise Fund. This financial boost will facilitate the rapid development and deployment of Invary’s advanced security solutions.

Focus on Runtime Integrity

Invary’s primary focus revolves around verifying the runtime integrity of entire systems, which is crucial for maintaining advanced security and confidentiality. The firm utilizes patented technology that is exclusively licensed from the National Security Agency (NSA), bringing high-assurance federal security standards into the commercial arena.

New Solutions and Their Impact

With this new funding, Invary plans to accelerate the launch of its Windows Kernel Runtime Integrity solution and the upcoming eBPF Runtime Integrity verification. These solutions will enhance real-time integrity verification for Trusted Execution Environments (TEE), such as AMD’s SEV-SNP, which is essential for detecting sophisticated cyber threats and zero-day malware.

Leadership and Strategic Vision

As part of the investment agreement, Dr. Patricia Muoio, a general partner at SineWave Ventures and former chief of the NSA’s Trusted Systems Research Group, will join Invary’s board of directors. Dr. Muoio emphasized the importance of Invary’s technology, stating, “It is time for enterprises to stop letting attackers dictate the rules of the game, instead capitalizing on having home-field advantage.”

Previous Funding and Future Goals

Invary has previously raised a pre-seed round, also led by Flyover Capital, which has reaffirmed its confidence in the company’s technology and market potential. CEO Jason Rogers highlighted the groundbreaking nature of the upcoming eBPF Runtime Integrity solution, noting that it builds on foundational protections to ensure that eBPF programs and their data remain unaltered in memory at runtime.
