Eclypsium, a leader in infrastructure supply chain security, has successfully secured $45 million in an oversubscribed Series C funding round. This substantial financing, which combines both equity and debt, showcases the growing demand for enhanced cybersecurity solutions, particularly in the face of increasing cyber threats.

Funding Details and New Investors

The latest funding round attracted a range of new investors, including:

  • Qualcomm Ventures
  • Pavilion Capital
  • Singtel Innov8
  • Sixty Degree Capital

Returning investors such as Ten Eleven Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, and Madrona also participated. With this round, Eclypsium’s total equity funding has reached $85 million.

Focus on Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure

Eclypsium has established a robust reputation for protecting both commercial and federal critical infrastructure against sophisticated cyber threats. These threats are often associated with nation-state actors. The recent funding will allow Eclypsium to:

  • Enhance security for generative AI hardware
  • Strengthen protections for smart connected devices
  • Expand operations in North America and the APAC region
  • Support markets recently targeted by ransomware and state-sponsored cyberattacks

Expansion of Supply Chain Research Lab

In addition to expanding its operational footprint, Eclypsium plans to enhance its supply chain research lab. This initiative aims to provide security assurance and certification services for industry partners and customers.

Tushar Gupta, Senior Director at Qualcomm Ventures, emphasized the importance of securing AI processing systems, stating, “As AI processing increasingly shifts towards edge devices, ensuring the security of these systems and the underlying infrastructure is of paramount importance.”

Yuriy Bulygin, CEO and co-founder of Eclypsium, highlighted the urgency presented by threats from nation-state actors, including groups like Salt Typhoon and Volt Typhoon. He noted that:
